  Post Match Comments:
  Newcastle manager Glenn Roeder said
There were periods where we played well and periods where we did not and I thought there were a few players who disappointed me.

I wasn't satisfied with two or three performances and I've never had to say that before.  But I've got two weeks to sort that out and, hopefully, before Thursday there will be one or two more new players in at the club as well.

  Match Report:
Two goals from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer were enough to beat us but if it wasn't for some good saves by Steve Harper and the woodwork it could have been 8-0.

Roeder decided to play a 4-5-1 system and to be honest it was a total shambles. We never looked like getting into the game and we never looked like hold out Man Utd.

Same old story at Old Trafford sadly, so let's forget about this and move on.
