Supporters Club Pub Competition
Date: Saturday 24th October
Venue: Turf Bar, 131 Queens Street, Melbourne CBD
Time: From 11:30am to about 5pm

Aussie Mags is pleased to announce that we have been invited to a Supporters Club Pub Competition ran by TNT Magazine which is the number 1 independent travellers magazine.

Basically the Pub Comp compromises of Supporters Clubs (only 6 clubs allowed) competing in three events during a Saturday afternoon, Trivia, Cricket Darts and then finally we finish on Pool. All events are team events, with trivia being unlimited in numbers in team, and the darts and pool requiring 8 players from each team, so we encourage as many Aussie Mags as possible to come down.

Turf Bar will have an MC who will also act as the referee for all of the events and the day has a cost of $10 per person, but does include some lunch and many great spot prizes throughout the day obviously with a trophy for the winning team.

I'll come but im terrible at both pool and darts and probably not much help in the trivia..

I'll do my best though

Maybe we could kick on at the Melbourne Victory home match afterwards..

Good on ya Daniel,I'm not much chop at darts or pool either but okay at trivia so long as it's pop culture! And I'll be heading to the Victory match afterwards.

Here is my commentary of ours photos...

We came last in the first round which was a quiz and as you can tell the stress was starting to show!


We had much more success in the darts round, finishing third, but we could quite easy have won it.


We won the final round which was pool, and its fair to say an afternoon's drinking was starting to take hold!
